Suspect In Custody After Chase, Standoff That Closed Highway 99 North Of Sacramento

SUTTER COUNTY (CBS13) — Authorities accidental a fishy is present successful custody aft a captious incidental that had Highway 99 blocked successful some directions respective miles northbound of Sacramento connected Tuesday.

The incidental happened astatine Highway 99 and Diego Road. California Highway Patrol said officers were dealing with a fishy who has barricaded themselves aft a chase.

Sutter County Sheriff’s Office deputies were negotiating with the suspect.

Exactly what started the pursuit is unclear.

Both directions of Highway 99 were blocked, with postulation backing up to Elkhorn Boulevard successful Sacramento.

CHP announced a small earlier 1 p.m. that the fishy had been taken into custody. The suspect’s sanction has not been released.
