SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — California’s latest Hall of Fame inductees see an artist, 2 stone stars and cheery matrimony trailblazers.

Gov. Gavin Newsom inducted the 14th people to the state’s hallway of fame Tuesday nighttime via a webcast.

The honorees included Grateful Dead vocalist Jerry Garcia, LGBTQ rights activists Phyllis Lyon and Del Martin, sculpture creator Ruth Asawa, labour organizer Larry Itliong, and Mexican-American stone and rotation instrumentalist Ritchie Valens of “La Bamba” fame.
