STOCKTON (CBS13) – An probe is underway aft an inmate astatine the San Joaquin County Jail died implicit the weekend.

The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office says correctional officers recovered the 44-year-old antheral unresponsive successful his single-person jailhouse cell. Other unit and medics were instantly called for help, authorities say.

Life-saving measures were started by officers until medics took over, but the antheral was soon pronounced dormant astatine the scene.
